This is based on my own personal experience. I know some women who enjoy using this gym but it's turned out to be a negative experience for me... It maybe one of the few Women's Only Gym in London but the facilities considering the high membership fees are very poor. Equipment are worn and dated. For example exercise bikes are old and haven't been modernised in a while. The communal areas congested. Staff were nice when they sign you up for membership and show you around, but once you are signed up to their contract they don't really bother with customer service afterwards. I recently asked for my membership to be frozen due to pregnancy. However the staff made it impossible and very stressful for me to do so, even though when I first signed up to them and asked about this and they said it shouldn't be a problem. Now I am stuck with paying for a contract and cannot use their facilities as I feel they are unsafe. They don't take into account your individual circumstance and even suggested that I do classes that for pregnant women can be dangerous such as Body Pump. I am looking forward to my contract coming to an end. I am forced to pay 57 pounds a month and not use their facilities. I had hoped for a women's only gym they would be supportive and flexible, but they gave me the impression that they only cared about their money contract with people.
