Another Dalston Haunt
The Alibi is not a destination bar as such but it is great as another late night Dalston haunt where you can always swing by and have a good night, a dance and some drinks as something will always be going on. It's quite raw decor with exposed brick and low ceilings make it feel very cool underground and relaxed. Watch out though, I got my bag stolen last time I was there from under my feet while having a cigarette in the smoking section outside (on a cornered off section of pavement).

Uber cool, yah
Alibi is one of the 'coolest' hangouts in East London. They don't charge to get in, which is refreshing and says something about the attitude of the management, who all seem absolutely lovely. The staff are great here - very professional and chatty, and the prices are reasonable. Very popular for it's choice of music which varies a lot but is always well selected. You get a nice crowd in here, just beware of those who think they're too cool for school; but that's to be expected on the new, trendified Dalston scene.
