There's a real buzz about Dalston

I smiled when I read the story in the London Evening Standard about beekeeping growing in popularity in the capital.
Apparently Londoners are reacting to concerns the insect may become extinct because of disease, and Dalston residents are doing their bit to help.
John Chapple, chairman of the London Beekeepers Association, has been helping install rooftop hives in the area.
“You can put a hive anywhere, even on a concrete roof” he says. “And if you look after them, they are perfectly harmless.”
Let’s hope this isn’t just a fad, and these new beekeepers don’t neglect to look after their charges, otherwise there could be swarms of angry bees plaguing us in the coming months!

ReportI am all for beekeeping if it leads to Dalston honey. As long as I don't get stung, that is...
