Vortex Outdoor Festival Goes Ahead Despite Gillett Square Stabbing

Three men were stabbed in what appeared to be a drunken brawl in Gillett Square this weekend.
The brawl, which took palce in the early hours of Sunday morning, left three men with non life threatening wounds, but they were treated at hospital.
Police were called at approximately 4:47 am after reports of a fight in the Dalston square. The Vortex Outdoor Festival continued as planned on Sunday afternoon, despite fears that it may be abandoned.
It is believed bottles were involved in the fight and four men have been arrested and are in police custody.
However the festival was a success, with all planned artists and acts going ahead.
There were several incidents across London according to the Hackney Hive, including a 19 year old man stabbed to death outside Finsbury Park station on Seven Sisters Road and another man stabbed on Shaftsbury Avenue in the West End.
