Tony, a new thriller about a serial killer living in Dalston, has been getting some good reviews.

The film, which is director Gerard Johnson's debut, was apparently shot in 12 days for a small budget but has been getting some top reviews.

The Guardian says that Dalston comes out well in the film, "The place looks amazing – there are some gorgeous wide angle shots of the flats and loads of local colour."

It is a shame the Rio Cinema aren't planning on showing the film.

The Evening Standard review can be found here.

Also the IMDB review is here.

Has anyone seen it?

There was a late screening at the Rio on Friday (5th) followed by a Q&A with the director and lead.
