Police appeal for witnesses after man is shot in Dalston

A man was shot in the shoulder in Dalston on Tuesday evening.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.

Officers from Operation Trident, the Metropolitan Police's unit tackling gun crime, are investigating after a 29-year-old man was taken to an east London hospital with a gunshot wound at 7.20pm on Tuesday March 9.

The man was shot in Colvestone Crescent but his condition is described as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made yet.
