Come on down to the Arcola Theatre on the first Sunday of the month for Green Sundays.  A meeting place for people and minds, it is a free event giving the ecologically curious the chance to learn about different aspects of the green movement in a relaxed environment through the arts.

Fun and informal, each month has a different theme - from organic food to sustainability to activisim - and features live music and short films as well as workshops and discussions.  Previous Green Sundays have partnered with Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and the Barbican amongst others.

February's Green Sundays focuses on Well Being, Health and Happiness.

Discover what it would be like if the government had 'happiness' as part of its national agenda, find out about the Happy Planet Index which measures environmental impact and social sustainability and the New Economic Foundation's '5 Ways to Well Being'.

Increase

your own personal happiness levels with a laughter workshop - guaranteed to make you giggle, or sing your heart

out in a workshop aimed at both singers and non-singers alike. Or perhaps you’d

like to play games, make your own natural beauty products or even have a

relaxing massage to help you unwind.

The Arcola is easily accessible

by public transport: Dalston Kingsland is the nearest station and a multitude

of buses pass nearby including 30, 38, 67, 76, 149 and 243.
