New Barclays Cycle Superhighways in London

The first of the new Barclays Cycle Superhighways are launching in London.
Unfortunately none of them plan to go through Dalston, but will you be using any of the new routes?
The two launching this summer run from Barking to Tower Gateway and from Merton to the City.
Do you think we need one? Or are Hackney cycle routes good enough?
I presonally think Regent's canal towpath could be sorted out. Have seen so many "almost" accidents.

The cycle crossings around Mare Street are good, need more of them I reckon.

ReportCycling under the bridges in regents canal with pedestrians and other cyclists coming the other way is scary! I was walking down the canal arm-in-arm with someone and a cyclist toppled in last summer - it was actually quite funny but he didn't see it that way.
