Street artist Andy Seize is teaching graffiti basics (lines, shading, spraying) in one-hour classes, and there are also three-hour sessions on writing your name and aerosol control techniques using different nozzles and general confidence with a spray can.
Classes take place on a playground in Hackney (or Waterloo if it's raining), it's all legal and a photographer will even take photos of you and your tags.
Classes are also available for groups for parties and events.
Andy Seize, a respected London graffiti artist, founded ‘graffiti lessons’ due to the huge interest in graffiti and street art. After working on creative projects with companies such as Disney, Vogue, Red Bull and ITV, Andy wanted to pass on his wealth of experience and passion for the art by teaching graffiti to others.
The classes run on Saturdays and cost £55, £45 for students and 16 year-olds and £35 for children aged 10-15. Please note lessons only run when there is a minimum of 5
people.
