The Naked Muse 2012 Unveiled Exhibition

The Naked Muse 2012 Unveiled Exhibition, featuring one off nude photographic portraits of 15 of the UK's top male poets, including Owen Sheers. The images were shot as part of the Naked Muse Calendar project, in aid of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and were taken by 13 of the UK's most exciting women photographers in response to poems on the subject of the male muse, contributed by 14 top UK women poets and featured in the calendar.

The prints will be auctioned at the private view (tickets available by contacting the organisers direct) and all profits will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. All artists and the organisers have worked for free. The project was devised and created by poet and Wild Women Press founder, Victoria Bennett after her two year old son was diagnosed with the auto-immune disease, Type One Diabetes.

The show is at The Big Project Space, 129 -131 Mare Street, E8 3RH and open to the public from 11am - 8pm on 24th and 25th February 2012 and is free to enter.
