Green Sundays the informal get-together blending environmental issues with the arts is back at the Arcola on 3rd April 2011.
Join us for free workshops and a special ticketed film screening of The Economics of Happiness. the day will explore the way our society is based on ‘growth’ – the notion that we need more money, more goods and more services to lead fulfilling lives.
But the power of the pound has been shaken with the financial meltdown of 2008, the subsequent recession and uncertain job security. Can we keep on spending indefinately? At what cost? To our communities, the planet and ourselves?
Free workshops from three and film screening from five. Tickets can be pre-booked at the Arcola or bought at the door. £8 / £5 concession.
Arcola Theatre, 24 Ashwin Street, Dalston
