Something's happened on Kingsland Road. It's all shut off and earlier there was loads of police and a cordon near the leisure centre. Anyone know what's happened?

Motor bike accident outside the Fox at the corner of Middleton Road. Kingsland Road closed for some way south from Englefield.

actually I am pretty sure there was a shooting there involving someone on a bike - 5 shots were fired there at around 10pm tonight.

Was in the area between at around half ten - eleven and at middleton road crossroads lay a motorcyle. There was a heavy police presence in the area with at least four police vans on the scene which would indicate something bigger than just a road accident.

I was in the pub and it was definitely a shooting and not a motorbike accident.

A MAN was shot in the leg and gunshots were reported in Dalston.

Police were called to Kingsland Road near the junction of Middleton Road at around 10pm on Wednesday April 14.

A short while later a man in his 20s went to a north London hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

His condition is not serious and no arrests have been made.

Operation Trident, the Metropolitan Police's unit tackling gun crime in London, is investigating.
