I am absolutely furious with my local dry cleaners (Chris Dry Cleaning on Stoke Newington Rd) - don't EVER use them! My clothes came back dirtier than they were before AND I got yelled at by the proprietor & his wife.

the only cleaners I can deal with are the Church Street Cleaners across the street from Fresh & Wild.

Sorry for delay - I've been away. They yelled at me when I suggested I should be offered a discount because they'd ruined my trousers and tried to return two other garments still dirty.

Thanks for the tip stokekris - I might give those cleaners a try next time!

well said moidaloid!! I had a bad experience with Chris dry cleaning myself - he dry cleaned a shirt and it came back with stains on it yet he denied responsibility, so I swore at him and thought about revenge - i lived nearby and the side window was always open & I really wanted to throw an old-fashioned stink bomb in there =)

1st class Dry Cleaners on Dalston Lane, opposite the library. Never had a problem with them.
