"Transport for London have been working hard to open the central section of the new line in April. I can confirm that the line is expected to be open in the next few days.

The opening of the line is wholly dependent on London Overground successfully completing their testing. During testing some issues with the software used on the trains had been identified. Over the last few weeks, London Overground has been resolving the issues and is now in a position to open the line.

I share your frustration at the opening of the line however London Overground needed to ensure the line would be reliable before opening to the public.

The same Gary Webb has been quoted on London Reconnections as saying that the first train from Dalston Junction will be setting off at 1205 tomorrow. Fingers crossed...
