Barbecues in London Fields

Some great comments there, especially the use of tripod style BBQ's. Perhaps the shops around London Fields could sell only these types instead of disposable. I have a feeling this weekend London Fields grass is going to suffer :(

please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't London Fields have a byelaw preventing barbecues? its just that nobody has the balls to enforce it
