Victoria Park Fireworks have been cancelled by Tower Hamlets Council this year, on grounds of health and safety.

Dalston People announced the decision in March this year.
Instead of the annual free fireworks extravaganza, the event will now be split into three smaller, more localised events across Tower Hamlets.
The smaller fireworks displays will be held at Weavers Fields in Bethnal Green, Millwall Park in Mudchute, and Bartlett Park in Limehouse.
They will take place simultaneously, all beginning on Saturday 5th November at 7.30pm. Each event will feature a free fireworks display.
Tower Hamlets Council claim the move was to ensure residents of their borough had the best views in the house, and because the Victoria Park event was becoming too crowded. However, some critics say it is a move to save money.
Mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman said: "Fireworks have always been very popular in the borough and this year I wanted to make sure our residents benefited from our fantastic displays. We're taking the displays out to the community with three shows making it more accessible and giving thousands more local families a chance to enjoy fireworks for free."
