Hackney Foodies Potluck Launches This Week

The launch of the  first Hackney Foodies Potluck will take place on tomorrow, on Wednesday 17th August.

The Potluck involves a group of people gathering together, where each person contributes a dish of food. 

The Hackney Foodies Potluck will take place at the Avo Hotel in Dalston Lane. 

For the Hackney Foodies Potluck the dish can be either:

· Savory or sweet

· Vegetarian-friendly

· Something you made at home

Attendees are asked to provide an ingredients list and utensils if necessary and enough food to feed 6-8 people.

Organisers said: "If you want to share food you have made and eat food others have made, you are a perfect candidate for the Hackney Foodies Potluck." 

Attendees are asked to RSVP on Facebook.  

Cold drinks will be on sale at the event and people are welcome to bring their own alcoholic varieties if they wish.
