Hackney City Farm will be hosting a pop up Cycle-In Cinema this Bank Holiday weekend.

Princess Bride (1987) will be screened thanks to the people of Hackney on their two-wheeled beasts.

Drive-In Cinema's are no more - it is all about riding your bike to the screening. The electricity for the screenings will be produced by the cyclists, after all bikes are hooked up to the generator.

The movie soundtrack will be broadcast using a wireless transmitter allowing audience members to 'tune-in' to the performances using their mobile phones or radios. This means no important dialogue will be missed because Larry the donkey got too noisy!

The farm are asking anyone who wants to watch the film to come along on Sunday 28th August from 8pm, on your bike, with your friends, a blanket and an FM Radio/your mobile to tune into the film with.

The event is free, but there is a suggested £5 donation. There will be refreshments available and vegan Jamaican food on sale provided by Mighty Veg Delights.

The farm said: "Our specially designed bike generators will be setup and ready for anyone who would like to bring their bike and participate. With bike or without, we encourage everyone to have a go, so please don't be shy on the night!

"If you are bringing your bike, we ask you to arrive as close to doors opening as possible, so we can fix bikes up in plenty of time."
